There are a few things you should consider when buying Oud, especially Oud woods and chips. A couple of important questions you should ask before purchasing are the following:
1) Is the Oud wild or cultivated (farm Oud)?
2) Is it treated superficially to enhance its grade?

Its aroma has a characteristic of balsamic, moderate creamy, dark and wet. Splendid smell of antique wood at the beginning and after half an hour, enters into a slightly golden metallic smell, sharing harmoniously with wood.
